Gittana Allen Griggs "GG"

Gittana Allen Griggs (GG) born June 3rd 1964, first born child of Waltraud and Raymond Allen Jr. She entered eternal rest on October 7th, 2026 at the age of 62. She graduated high school in Henry County KY and attended the University of Louisville. 

She was a dedicated employee of Centerwell for thirty plus years. Gittana was known for her extraordinary generosity. She loved people and had a special gift for cultivating a warm family environment, that will live on through her children and grandson. 

Gittana is preceded in death by her father Raymond Allen Jr.

Gittana is survived by her husband Alden Dyre; mother, Waltraud Allen; brother, Rudiger; sisters, Stefani (Anthony), Sonya (Melvin), Mirranda (William), Gabriella (Keith); and from her union with Broderick Griggs, two daughters Gabriella Griggs (Curtis), Me'Kayla Griggs, and a grandson Gabriel. Along with many beloved relatives and close friends. 

Her celebration of life will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive, Louisville KY on Monday, October 19, 2026, between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM. The family extends appreciation to her extended family of friends, co-workers, and medical teams.
