Ginny Johnson

Ginny was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, August 21, 2018.

Ginny was born on April 30, 1949, Bedford, Ky to the late Charles Abbott and the late Juralee "Judy" (Burton) Boone. She will always be remembered for her fun and outgoing personality and being the life of the party and an amazing friend to everyone she knew. From her days of running Karaoke with her husband until her last days, she always loved her music and singing. Her last days were spent listening to oldies and singing the songs that made her smile. All who know and love her will always remember her smile and laugh and will cherish all the good memories until we all meet her again.

She is preceded in death by her Husband and Soul Mate of over 30 years, Douglas Johnson, her parents, and Daughter, Lynnea' Simpson.

Ginny is survived by her Son, Lynn Harms (Virginia), Daughters, Tia Harms (Marylou), Kerry Johnson, Grandchildren, Tony Harms, Courtney Harms, Morgan Caballero (Josh), Matthew Handy, Jacob Handy (Ashley), Amanda Pujol, and Chloe Coan, 7 great grandchildren, and her Fur Baby, Gracie.

Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, August 27, 2018 and 1 hour prior to her funeral on Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville). Her Funeral Ceremony will be held Tuesday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home with burial to follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery (Central) in Radcliff, Kentucky.
