He was born on March 2, 1941, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Gilbert R. and Irma C. (King) Taylor.
Dean is survived by his daughter, Dena McCullough; sisters, Krista Shaughnessy and Jan Day and her husband, Kevin; and many other loving family members.
Cremation was chosen following Dean's wishes.
