Gertrude Natalie Dentinger

Gertrude Natalie (Cross) "Trudy" Dentinger, age 89 of Louisville, returned to her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. She was born in Lawrence, MA., on July 1, 1927 to the late John and Gertrude Cross. Trudy moved to Louisville at age 20 and retired from Merchants Ice & Cold Storage where she worked for over 50 years. She was a member of Incarnation Catholic Church and was a volunteer at St. Mary's Hospital, having dedicated over 8,000 hours. She is a beloved Aunt and will be missed greatly. Trudy was also preceded in death by her husband, Louie Dentinger.

Trudy is survived by her loving Guardians, Karlen Dentinger, and Mike and Molly Dentinger; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be 10am-12:30pm on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown, with a celebration of her life to follow at 12:30pm. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
