Geraldine Phelps, 73, of Louisville, passed away on February 25, 2016. Geraldine was born in Louisville on October 23, 1942. She enjoyed Bingo and Bunko and was a faithful member of Cardinal Hill Baptist Church.
Geraldine is survived by her husband of 53 years, Chandler Phelps; mother, Alberta Murphy; five sons, James (Judy), John (Frances), Justin (Jenny), Jason (Lori), and Jesse Phelps; 7 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter, and a twin-sister, Meraldine Devine.
Visitation will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday, February 29, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272). Funeral ceremony will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday at the funeral home with burial following in Evergreen Cemetery.
