Geraldine Garrison

Geraldine Garrison, of Palmyra, Indiana, passed away on October 23, 2026, in New Albany at the age of 72. She was born on October 10, 1954, in New Albany, Indiana.

Geraldine graduated from North Harrison High School and went on to earn her bachelor's degree from Indiana University Southeast. She worked as a special education teacher for many years before retiring.

She is survived by her son, Gerald Garrison and her daughter, Amanda Johnson (James); grandchildren, Eli Garrison, Ezekiel Johnson, Evelyn Garrison, Zoe Johnson, Eleanor Garrison, and Malachi Johnson; siblings, Irene Kiesler, Jesse Crawford, Doris Waiz, Raymond Crawford, and Melissa Richards.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mettie and Jesse Crawford, and by her sister, Betty Ann Adamson.

A memorial service will be held, October 29th from 6:30-8:30, at Vineyard Church at 727 Rolling Creek Dr New Albany, IN.
