Geraldine "Gerri" Frasure, 68, of Irvington, Kentucky, passed away at her home on Saturday, January 22, 2022. Gerri was an avid crafter and loved making her family and friends personal greeting cards. She was a house wife, who loved life on the farm, her family, fishing, riding four wheelers, and the antics of her hummingbirds in the summer. She loved to write poetry, having several of them published. Gerri will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
She was born on June 24, 1953 in Louisville, Kentucky to John and Mary (Elsler) Jones. She is preceded in death by her Father, John Max Jones, Mother, Mary Elizabeth McGinty, Step-Father, Bob McGinty, and Brother, Danny Jones.
Gerri is survived by the love of her life of almost 52 years, Kenneth Earl Frasure; Sons, Shawn (Jennifer) Frasure and Jamie (Kristen) Frasure, 5 Grandchildren, Emily (Jesse) Schnellenberger, Bradley (Maria) Haney, Hailey (Cody) Frasure, Heather (Adam) Zepeda, and Mayson (Victoria) Schaefer, 7 Great-Grandchildren, Taygan, Addison, Kamdyn, Brantley, Sofia, MaKinley, and a baby boy on the way whom she couldn't wait to see, 7 Brothers, Steven, Bobby, Mike, Ronnie, David, John, and Ed, 8 Sisters, Debbie, Sherry, Jenette, Jeanine, Tracy, Elizabeth, Catherine, and Mary Faye, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, and friends to cherish her fun loving memory forever.
Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Wednesday, February 2, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). Her Celebration of Life Service will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial on Tuesday February 8 at 12pm at Louisville Memorial Gardens West Cemetery with everyone meeting at Newcomer cremations, funerals, and receptions southwest at 11am to prepare to go in procession to the cemetery.
