Geraldine Ann"Jerry"(Belviy) Dunn

Geraldine Ann "Jerry" (Belviy) Dunn, 81, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2015. In her younger years, Jerry worked at Belviy's Market in Jeffersonville alongside her family. She was a resident at Lincoln Hills Nursing Home in New Albany for several years and was a lover of animals.

She was born on May 7, 1933 in New Albany to the late Woodrow and Leona Belviy. She was also preceded in death by her son, William Dunn. Jerry is survived by her husband of 63 years, Clyde Dunn; children, Robert Dunn (Susie), James Dunn (Martha), Ronald Dunn, Daniel Dunn (Bridgette), Rebecca Tomes (Jessie); and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Cremation was chosen and Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with her care. Jerry will be laid to rest in New Albany National Cemetery.

The family requests contributions in Jerry's memory may be made to the New Albany/Floyd County Animal Shelter (215 W. Market Street, New Albany).
