Geraldine Ann (Blakley) Adkins

Geraldine Ann (Blakley) Adkins, 76, of Salem, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2026. She had been a devoted member of the First Baptist Church in Pekin.

Born on January 21, 1950, in New Albany, Indiana, Geraldine was the daughter of King Blakley and Mary (Chapman) French. She is preceded in death by her parents, her son-in-law Earl Zollman, and her siblings Louis French, Jr. and Sharon Shopher.

Surviving her are her loving husband of 58 years, Otis Adkins; her daughters, Charity Radcliff (Ricky) and Kerrie Adkins; her son, Samuel Adkins (Pam); 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and her brother, Joseph Blakley.

Geraldine’s wish for cremation is being honored by Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions in New Albany, where she is being cared for with dignity and respect.
