Gerald T. Woods, 78, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on December 12, 2017.
Gerald retired from Delta Direct Staffing, he was a Pilot, and also served in the Air Force. He enjoyed music, spending time with his lovely bride and loved working with computers.
Gerald was born on November 8, 1939 in Beech Creek, Kentucky to the late Charles Woods and Evalyn (Purdue) Woods. He is also preceded in death by his sister, Joyce West.
Gerald is survived by his loving wife of nearly 59 years, Sarina Woods; daughters, Sandra B. Woods (Karen Miller), Linda Woods Sostarich (Mike); granddaughter, Sydney Sarina Sostarich and grandson, Isaac Joseph Sostarich.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at St. Michael Catholic Church (3705 Stone Lakes Drive, Louisville, KY 40299), family will be available for visitation at 9 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be held at Middletown Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Brain Injury Institute, St. Vincent DePaul or Air Force Aid Society.
