Gerald E. McGuffey (Jerry)

Our beloved Gerald E. McGuffey (Jerry), 61, of Corydon, Indiana passed peacefully at home on June 25, 2025. He was born in Frankfort, Kentucky.

Survived by his mother, Glenda Tillett; father, Stewart McGuffey; daughter Jamie McGuffey; son, Jeremy McGuffey; grandchildren, Sophie, Jason, and Julian Sothmann; brothers, Stewart McGuffey (Patty) and Earl Cummings (Kaci); and sisters, Judith McGuffey and Susan McGuffey.

Jerry is preceded in death by his sister, Gaye McGuffey Henkel.

He was devoted to his family. Jerry loved to cook for family and friends at gatherings. He had a great sense of humor and made everyone laugh. Always willing to help others. He had a big heart and will be sadly missed by everyone.

It was Jerry's wishes to be cremated with no services.
