Gerald Lee Newton Sr.

Gerald Newton, 68, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on December 28, 2014. He retired from The Courier Journal after 38 years, was a member of Southeast Christian Church since 1999 and was a U.S. Army Veteran

Gerald is survived by his wife of 40 years, Susie (Knopp) Newton; sons; Gerald Lee (Leah) Newton, Jr., and Joseph Sinclair (Virginia) Newton, granddaughter, Victoria Newton and sister, Rosemary Harness.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm Wednesday, December 31, 2014 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville) and on Friday, January 2, 2015 from 9:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am at Southeast Christian Church with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Cemetery.
