Gerald Oliver "Jerry" Haddox, 82, of Pekin, Indiana passed away on Tuesday, July 4, 2017. Jerry loved working with his hands and being outside. He will always be remembered for his love of children, animals, and for baking the best pies.
He was born on March 9, 1935 in Monroe, Michigan to the late Charles and Theda (Huston) Haddox. Along with his parents, Jerry is preceded in death by his daughter, Mindee Kalka.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of almost 28 years, Mrs. Karen (Kalka ) Haddox; children, Lisa Smith (Richard), Gerald Haddox (Pamela), Mistie Kalka, Mandi Vest (Fayne), Flower Haddox, and Autumn Haddox; grandchildren, Kristi, Richard (Helen), Nicholas (Brooke), Devin, Jason, Jade, and Wyatt; and great-grandchildren, Julian, Rowan, and Donovan.
Cremation was chosen according to Jerry's wishes.
