He was born on October 29, 1940 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late Anthony and Julia (Mannix) Clephas. He is preceded in death by his brother, Tom Clephas and daughter-in-law, Janet (Lawrence) Clephas.
Jerry was a graduate of Ahrens High School and attended Jefferson Community College. As a young man, Jerry, volunteered to serve his country in the Army. He served 5 years, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. He took tremendous pride in his country and this time of service.

Jerry will leave a lasting imprint on this earth through all those he touched. All who had the privilege of knowing him will miss him tremendously, but we take comfort in knowing that he is whole in his heavenly home with Jesus.
