Gerald Allan " Jerry" Vermillion, 77, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on January 24, 2016. He worked as a truck driver for many years. Jerry served in the United States Army, was a member of the American Legion Post #70 in Wellsville, Ohio, and enjoyed doing electricial work.
Jerry was born on September 24, 1938, in Elm Grove, West Virginia, to John and Nellie (Petras) Vermillion. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Dean Vermillion, siblings; Tim, Bob, and Yvonne Vermillion. Jerry is survived by his loving wife, Carol (Watson) Vermillion, children; Mark Vermillion, Elaine Coker (Wayne), Guy Vermillion (Lisa), Charlene Cozurt (Rodney), Kiana Velez, Enrique Velez, siblings; Tom, Ron Vermillion, Beverly Daugherty, six grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
