Georgia Evelyn Meece

Georgia Evelyn Meece, 93, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, January 15, 2018. She was born in Cumberland County, Kentucky on April 22, 1924 to the late Luther and Eunice Riddle. She was a member of Lighthouse of Prayer Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husbands, Delmer L. Lewis, Marvin Allen and Leo Meece and several brothers and sisters.

Georgia is survived by her beloved children, Retta (Jim) Leuenberger, Roger (Sharon) Lewis, Beverly (Bob) Burt, Marilyn (Ron) Newman and Charlie (Susan) Krieg; nine grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; and a host of other family members and friends.

Funeral Ceremony will be conducted at 4:00 pm on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Hwy with private burial in Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be from 12-4 on Sunday at the funeral home.
