George T. Stark, Jr.

George Theodore Stark, Jr., age 78 of Louisville passed away on Friday, March 30, 2018.
He was born on August 29th 1939 in Chicago, IL to the late George Theodore, Sr., and Rose Fontana Stark. George was a graduate of Male High School in Louisville and was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era. He was a meat cutter for Kroger for 43 years and had stayed active working several part jobs since. George was a fan of Nascar, the NFL, Horse racing and always enjoyed sharing a Saturday game of pool with friends. Many will remember him for his extreme generosity.
Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his aunt Ann Fontana.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Helen Arlene (Conder) Stark, brother Ronald Stark (Ruth), sons; Greg Stark, Gary Stark (Linda), Kevin Stark (Rhonda), seven grandchildren; Gary Jr., Tonya, Kevin Jr., Katie, Alliyah, Jonesti, Aiden, two great-grandchildren and a host of family members, friends and special lifelong friend James "Sonny" Ewing.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 from 3:00pm until 8:00pm at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243).
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 11:00am at the funeral home with burial to follow at Cave Hill Cemetery (701 Baxter Ave Louisville, KY 40204).
