George Phillip Sailings 82, went to be with his Heavenly Father on November 18, 2013 at his home. He was a United States Army Veteran and retired from G.E. after 35 years. George was a member of Gardiner Lane Church of Christ and enjoyed traveling, antique cars, and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his children; Rhonda(Kenny), David(Mary), Teryl, Tim(Danna), thirteen grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild and a sister Novella along with a host of neices and nephews.
Visitation will be Thursday November 21, 2013 at Newcomer Funeral Home 235 Juneau Drive , Louisville, Ky 40243 from 3-7pm. Service will be Friday November 22, 2013 at funeral home at 11am.
