George Johnson, 56, of Louisville, passed away on July 6, 2016. George was born in Louisville on July 16, 1959 to the late Charles Johnson and Diane Whitlow. He worked in the steel industry and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and playing golf in his spare time.

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Nevaeh Lee Wilson. He is survived by three children, Jessica Johnson, Kristina Piercefield (Taylor), and Jeremy Agee (Cheryl); and four grandchildren, Grayson Lee Piercefield, Emma Agee, Braxton Wilson, and Anthony Burns.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday, July 12 at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Chapel. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday and 9:00 am to 1:00 pm Tuesday.
