George Edward Bohn went home to his Lord on Saturday, March 19, 2016. During Derby events over the years, George ran a full marathon and nine mini-marathons in a regular wheelchair, not a racing wheelchair – feats that made him very proud. Everyone who knew George knew he had a big heart and was beloved by all his family and friends. He is preceded in death by his sister Mary Juliette Fulner and his brother Maurice Michael Bohn.
George is survived by his brothers, Robert (Judy), Charles (Martha), Nicholas , John (Sherry); and his sisters: Dorothy Abrams, Regina Browne, Margaret Bohn (Don Adams), Lizze Woodson (Bob), Rita Tonini (John); and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be 4-8pm Monday, March 21, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive in Middletown. A celebration of George's life will be 10am Tuesday, March 22nd at the funeral home.
