Geneva Thornton, 73, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2020.

She was born on November 6, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky to the late William and Hattie (Davis) Thornton. She is also preceded in death by her brother Victor Thornton.

Geneva is survived by her son Jimmy Thornton, brothers Alex Thornton, Sr. (Sissy), James Thornton (Fannie), sister-in-law Mary Thornton, two nieces Nicole and Tanya Thornton and one nephew Alex Thornton, Jr.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 pm on Friday, January 8, 2021 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive Louisville, KY 40243) with burial to follow at Berrytown Cemetery.
