Geneva C. Thomas, 96, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on November 20, 2017.
Geneva was born on October 3, 1921 in Hodgenville, KY to the late John and Julia Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl W. Thomas and brothers, Herman Miller and Hughlett Miller.
Geneva is survived by her children, Carletta Dull (Alton), Joseph Thomas (Amy), Jeanetta Daly, Betty Aubrey and Donald Thomas (Angie); grandchildren, Amber Dull, Timothy Thomas (Jen), Terry Thomas (Meredith), Tara Thomas, Carl Thomas (D'Anna); great-grandchildren, Christian Thomas and Summit Thomas; and one sister, Edna Louise Miller.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday, November 24, 2017 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, East Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY 40243), with a celebration of Geneva's life to follow at 12 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, burial will follow at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery in Magnolia, KY at 4 p.m. on Friday.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Cierra Kellar and staff at Countryside Meadows for their compassion and care during Geneva's stay.
