Gene Tyler Sublett, 55, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020.
He was born on February 15, 1965 in Glasgow, Kentucky to the late Gene and Veeda Sublett. Tyler was basketball star and played point guard at Valley High School and Stephen F. Austin College. Tyler also graduated from the University of Louisville with a Bachelors degree in history and a Masters degree in education. He was a veteran of the US Airforce. Tyler taught History and was a basketball coach at Fern Creek, Shawnee, and Eastern High Schools. He was the best Grand Da Da EVER!
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Gene is survived by his Son, Gene T. Sublett, II, Daughter, Justyne B. Sublett, Daughter, Sarai L. Sublett, Sister, Vickie Nolan, Brother, Timothy Stockton, Sister, Sandra Steele, Sister, Andrea Davis, Sister, Teresa Stone, Brother, Gene A. Sublett, Jr., Brother, Phillip Sublett, Grandson, Gene Marcel Sublett, Granddaughter, Nyla N. Craig, Grandson, Aidan Tyler Sublett, Wife, Lori Sublett Reese, and his Best Friend, Smokey Sublett.
A Graveside Service will be at 12:00 pm on Monday, at Barlow-Mansfield Cemetery in Glasgow, Kentucky.
