Gaylon Andrew Wilcoxson, Sr.

Gaylon Andrew Wilcoxson, Sr. passed away on August 14, 2015. He was an Army veteran and worked in the flooring industry for over 30 years. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who always put his family first. He had a passion for NASCAR and watching his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt, Jr. race.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Betty Wilcoxson and sister, Brenda Joyce Wilcoxson.

Gaylon is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Nancy Smith Wilcoxson; sons, Gaylon Wilcoxson, Jr. and David (Jamie) Wilcoxson; beloved grandchildren, Gavin, Kendyl, Peyton and Samuel Wilcoxson; brother, Bill Wilcoxson; sisters, Barbara, Belinda, Beverly and Bethny and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 16, 2015, from 10am-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway) and Monday, August 17, 2015, from 3pm-7pm with a celebration of Gaylon's life beginning at 7pm.
