Gayle Joan Mudd
June 3, 1954 — May 3, 2015
Gayle Joan Mudd, 60, passed away on May 3, 2015. She retired from State Highway Department and Board of Nursing. She was the past president of the PTA for Coral Ridge Elementary School and Moore Middle School and was also a proud Kentucky Colonel. Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren and her nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Earle and Mary Joan Redfearn Jr. and sister, Judith Anne Redfearn.
She is survived by her husband, Mike "Abe" Mudd; step-sons, Michael A. Mudd, Sr. and Tony MD Lawson; grandchildren, Michael A. Mudd, Jr. and Ashley Lawson; brother, John Earle Redfearn III (Linda) and a host of nephews, nieces, great-nephews, great-niece, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, May 8, 2015, at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Louisville Chapel from 1pm-8pm. A celebration of Gayle's life will be Saturday, May 9, 2015, beginning at 11am at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at Mt. Holly Cemetery, Fairdale, KY.
