Gary Wayne Smith (Smitty), 62, of Louisville, KY passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2012. He was a retired employee of GE.
Gary was preceded in death by his father, Garnett Smith. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Thacker Smith; his children, Lisa Roe (Rodney) and Wayne Smith (Saundra), Jennifer Thacker (Andy); his grandchildren, Nikki and Shelby Roe, Christopher and Joshua Smith and Avery Capito; great-grandchildren, Lexi, Layne, Brayden, Kaison and Brooklyn.
A memorial ceremony will be held 2 pm Saturday, December 1, 2012 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Dr. Visitation will be from 12 pm until time of service. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the Smith Family, in c/o Jennifer Thacker.
