Gary Lane Sample

Gary Lane Sample, 65, passed away on March 24, 2017. In high school he was a talented diver and gymnast and enjoyed boxing while he served in the US Army. Gary's favorite teams were the UL Cardinals and the Green Bay Packers. He loved fishing, going to the beach and Gary could always put a smile on your face.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Ellen Sample; brothers, Donnie and Doug Sample.

Gary is survived by his children, Greg Sample and Carla Sample; siblings, Charles (Ada) Sample, Jackie (Inge) Sample, Richie (Rose) Sample, Sue Davison and his twin brother Larry (Judy) Sample; numerous nieces and nephews and Gary's fur babies, Buck and Coop.

Visitation will be Monday 27, 2017, at Newcomer Funeral Home, East Louisville Chapel (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville, KY) from 4pm-8m. A celebration of Gary's life will be Tuesday, March 28, 2017, at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home beginning at 12pm.
