Gary Newton, Sr., 67, of Louisville, passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2016. Gary was born in Louisville on June 28, 1949 to Corbin and Ruth (DeRossett) Newton. His father preceded him in death. Gary had a love of fishing and being outdoors and was an avid UK fan.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his son, Larry Newton. He is survived by two children, Gary Newton, Jr. and Sherry Roselle (Anson); brother, Scotty Newton (Donna); sister, Dinah Newton; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Brenda, Peggy, Sam, and Jack.

Funeral service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy, Louisville, KY 40272). Visitation from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
