Gary Lynn Morris, 61, passed away on October 19, 2020.
Gary was born on October 19, 1959 in Oldham County, KY to the late William Frank and Sarah Alma Burgin Morris. Growing up, Gary was known as "Chubs" which was short for "Chubby Cheeks". Gary was a faithful member of Woodland Church. He enjoyed playing cards, going fishing, watching wrestling on TV, and having cookouts with friends and family. He loved being "Gramps" to his granddaughter Delilah. His work experience included construction work, factory work, restaurant work and retail work.
Gary is survived by his wife, Kerry Pence Morris; their children, Danielle Morris McGloshen (Eric) and William Morris; their granddaughter, Delilah McGloshen; His beloved brothers and sisters (Helen, Frances, James, Nora, Kenneth, Theresa, Danny, Wayne, Curtis); Along with many extended family members.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, October 23, 2020 at Woodland Church, (809 N Pope Lick Road Louisville, KY 40243).
Visitation will also be from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 am on Saturday, October 24, 2020 at Woodland Church with burial to follow at Louisville Memorial Gardens East.
Due to Covid-19, face masks are required to be worn for the visitation and service.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can me made to Woodland Church in Gary's honor.
