Gary Joe Wilson, 40, Shelbyville, KY, formerly of Louisville.
Gary passed away November 28, 2015 at Baptist East Hospital in Louisville, KY. He was preceded in death by his sister, Meleah Rose Wilson.
He is survived by the light of his life, his daughter, Autumn Taylor Wilson of Mount Eden; his parents, Gary (Bud) and Marilyn Wilson of Shelbyville; sister, Dawn Barrett of Shelbyville; brother, Travis Wilson of Louisville; step-daughter, Kimberly Kersey of Louisville; nephew and niece, Curtis and Courtney Barrett both of Shelbyville; and nephew and niece, Frederick and Lilly Embrey both of Louisville.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the "Autumn Wilson Donation Account" through any Chase Bank location to be used for college expenses.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville). His Funeral Ceremony will be held Wednesday at 6:00 pm immediately following visitation.
Cremation was chosen.
