Gary Nell (Roberts) Hinton, 82, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. She was a member of the Charlestown Road Church of Christ and was an avid New Albany Bulldogs and UK Wildcat Basketball fan.
She was born on September 26, 1935, in Monticello, Kentucky, to the late Kermit Roberts and Bessie F. (Jones) Roberts Orr. Along with her parents, Gary was preceded in death by her husband, John Hinton; and siblings, Betty Ball and Nancy Davis.
Gary is survived by her children, Dana Hendricks (Phil), Todd Hinton, and Jill Haub; 6 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and sister, Ruth Holloway.
Visitation will be Friday, June 1, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany, Indiana 47150). Her Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at the Charlestown Road Church of Christ (4601 Charlestown Road, New Albany, Indiana 47150) with burial to follow in Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park in New Albany.
Memorial contributions in Gary's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association (6100 Dutchmans Lane, # 401, Louisville, Kentucky 40205).
