Garnett V. Gaines, Jr., 62, of Palmyra, IN returned to his Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 9, 2015.
Among those who preceded him in death include his parents, Garnett V. Gaines, Sr. and Sarah Johnson Gaines and his sister, Sally Gaines Wallace.
Garnett leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Dolores Gaines; children, Tara Gaines Spaulding, Benjamin Maynard and Daniel Skaggs and grandsons, Mason and Will Spaulding.
Burial will be at Frankfort Cemetery, Frankfort KY, (Glenns Creek Road) on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at 10am. A memorial gathering will follow after the graveside at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY) from 1pm-8pm.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy be made to the Gaines family.
