Garland Lee Bostic

Garland Lee Bostic, 78, of Shepherdsville, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday, January 30, 2022.

He was born on March 5, 1943 in Sweetspring, West Virginia to Charles and Mable (Clarkson) Bostic. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Charles W. Bostic, Jr., father in-law, Marvin D. Keith, Sr., and mother in-law, Madeline Redmon Keith.

Garland proudly served our country during the Korean War while enlisted in the United States Army, retired from Ford Motor Company KTP after 31 years of employment and is a member of Summit Heights United Methodist Church. He will always be remembered for being a dedicated family man, loving his grandchildren and the love he had for his dogs.

Garland is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Donna Bostic, daughter, Laura M. (Mark Pulliam) Wood, grandchildren, Jessica L. (Camber Griffin) Bostic, Nolan R. Wood, and Michael Sebastian, sisters, Florence Lindsay, Hazel Clinevell, Norma Webb, and Evelyn (Richard) Crowder, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Sunday, February 13, 2022 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service along with Military Honors will be at 1:00 pm on Monday, at the funeral home with burial to follow at Bethany Memorial Cemetery.
