Gail Kleier

May 28, 1958 — July 5, 2015

Gail Kleier, known on stage as Gail Kingsley, died peacefully at home in Middletown on July 5th. Gail leaves behind her husband of 37 years, Luke Seibert; an Aunt & Uncle Betty & Jack Kleier of LaGrange, niece Kyndall Kleier Truett in Florida and two best friends, Georgette Kleier of New Albany and Tom Aubrey of Palm Springs. Additionally, there are many close, loving faithful friends and family—too numerous to mention each--who have prayed with and for her during treatment and management of cancer.

A Louisville native, Gail graduated Seneca HS, attended U of L Theater Arts then embarked on a 21 year acting career: 6 years in Chicago "Off Loop" theater productions, then 15 years in Hollywood. Gail came home to Louisville in 2001 and created Eyewitness Video Service, serving the Louisville legal community for 13 years.

Yet Gail's most enduring lead role was the Graceful Lady with cancer who never let it make a victim of her; never did she shirk a personal responsibility regarding her illness; and in the final end she refused it further residence in her beautiful body. You have been a beacon, Baby, of strength, courage, Faith and above all, Grace. You were not beaten, Miss Gail, you just ran out of ammunition. Farewell, my sweet love…farewell.
