Frieda Mae (Campbell) Shaw

Frieda Mae (Campbell) Shaw, 80, of Charlestown, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2020. Frieda enjoyed quilting, reading, cooking for her family, and hosting family reunions and gatherings.

She was born on July 1, 1940, in Blue Diamond, Kentucky, to the late Charlie and Mallie (Sizemore) Campbell. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband, Walter Pittman; second husband, Lawrence Shaw; daughter, Kathy Davis; and siblings, Charles Campbell, Juanita Cundiff, Denny Campbell, Leon Campbell, Bobby Campbell, and Helen Campbell.

Frieda is survived by her loving daughter, Debbie (Coonie Arthur) Gibson; grandson, Dillon (Sierra) Davis; great-grandson, Weston Davis, and one more on the way; sister, Linda (Neil) Wilson; brother, Tommy (Susan) Campbell; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Monday, September 14, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany (3309 Ballard Lane). Her Funeral Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Monday in the chapel of the funeral home with burial to follow at Bowery Cemetery in Memphis, Indiana.
