Freemond O. Baker, 75, passed away on July 15, 2017. He was a self employed contractor. Freemond was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Jeffersonville, IN. He was a man of strong faith and ministered to and loved by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Freemond O. Baker, Sr. and Margaret Baker and brother, William Baker.
Freemond is survived by his children, Terry Baker, Angela Kennedy, Cheri Snider and Christy Gambrel; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary and Susie; brothers, Benny, Larry, and Jimmy and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 30, 2017, from 11am-6pm at Newcomer Funeral Home, Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY. A celebration of Freemond's life will be Monday, July 31, 2017, beginning at 12pm at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home.
Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens, 279 Landis Lane, Mt. Washington, KY.
The family asks that expressions of sympathy be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Reform Church, 5240 Hollins Road, Roanoke, VA 24019.
