Frederick "Sparky" Casey Sr., 53, of Louisville, Kentucky passed away on August 9, 2016.
Frederick was born on July 11, 1963, Louisville, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his step-father, Walter Ford Jr.
He is survived by his parents, Joseph Furman and Lillian Ford; step-mother, Mary Furman; Children, Latrise Wheeler, Destiny Johnson, Frederick Dewayne Casey Jr.; siblings, Joseph Louis Furman Jr. (Kathy), Nettie Doss (Dominique Doss), Vicky Furman, Sheryl Smith (Terry Smith).
Sparky attended Jefferson County Public Schools and Bethel Baptist Church. He was a barber for many years. He was very humorous and enjoyed sports particularly Basketball "Kentucky Wildcats". Sparky was a chef in his own right, he loved to cook and eat. Most importantly he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He leaves behind a host of relatives and grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home (235 Juneau Drive, Louisville). His Funeral Ceremony will be held Saturday at 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - East Louisville with burial to follow at Floydsburg Cemetery.
