Frederick Louis "Fred" Burrell, 67, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019. Fred was a veteran of the U.S. Army and loved reading and taking care of his family.

He was born on September 29, 1952, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to the late George and Hattie (Majors) Burrell. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Tommy and Perry Burrell.

Fred is survived by his sons, Fred Burrell, Jon (Ty) Burrell, and Kevin Kennedy; grandchildren, Tionna Peters, DJ Coleman, and T'Asia Burrell; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Memorial Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - New Albany. His Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
