He was born on September 19, 1938 in Muhlenburg Co., Kentucky to Kermit and Victola Holmes. He is preceded in death by his Parents, his wife, Madonna Holmes, Son, Bruce Holmes, Sister, Linda Goodman, Brothers, Eddie Holmes, and Ernie Holmes.
Freddy is survived by his Daughters, Theresa Phillips, Brenda Holmes, Pam Davis, Regina Hill, and Rhonda Nevitt, Son, Steve Holmes, Sister, Ann Gittings, 9 Grandchildren, 8 Great-Grandchildren.
A gathering for family and friends to celebrate Freddy's life will be from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Tuesday, February 26, 2019, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, & Receptions-Southwest Louisville Chapel, 10304 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272.
