Franklin "Knockie" Gray Jr., 52, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.
He was born on May 1, 1966 in Louisville to Franklin, Sr. and Elizabeth Gray. He was a fun loving person who was actively involved at Mt. Nebo Baptist Church. He enjoyed working with the youth at his church. Knockie also loved to cook. He was a well loved son, brother, and friend who will be deeply missed.
Franklin is survived by his Mother, Elizabeth Gray, Father, Franklin Gray, Sr. (Georgia "Dianne"), Sisters, Shannon Gray and Whitney Gray, Brothers, Herschel Kirk, Vincent Trice, Special Friends, Denise and Indya Bedingfield, Nephews, Trenton Jones, Shonte Steen, Jr., Damontre Steen, and host of Aunts and Uncles.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Saturday, November 17, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Funeral Service will be at 4:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home.
The family requests that contributions in Franklin's memory be made to Wayside Christian Mission, P.O. Box 7249 Louisville, KY 40257.
