Franklin "Todd" Chamblee

Franklin "Todd" Chamblee, 50, of Louisville, Kentucky, left this world peacefully at home, surrounded with the love of his family on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 at 22:22.

A dedicated “Class A” driver, of 20 plus years, Todd's hard work, reliability, and perfection in everything he did never went unnoticed. Todd had a unique sense of humor and a contagious laugh. He was honored to mentor and pass on his knowledge to his children and others. Todd was a "jack of all trades, but a master at none." He was well known for his daily scratch off and hot dog purchases at several local gas stations. Todd had a passion for fishing, particularly for snook, with his good friend Mark Horne, where they created lasting memories together.

Though cancer presented a challenge at times, He displayed incredible strength and determination, a testament to the deep love he had for his family, which guided him through the toughest times. Cancer may have taken his body, but it could never take away his fighting spirit or the legacy of love he leaves behind. Throughout the entire fight, Todd stayed true to himself.

Born on December 9, 1974, in Naples, Florida. Todd is preceded in death by his father, Frank Hair, his mother-in-law Anita Bryant, and his father-in-law, Billy Bryant. Anita stepped in with loving arms to assist the moment he crossed over.

Todd is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jennifer Chamblee, children: Curtis Vickers, Kirstin, Franklin, Jr., and Cassidie Leonhardt; siblings, Wayne, Amy, Frankie Hair, Crystal (Mike) Solomon, Michelle (Reyes) Hernandez, grandchildren: Gabriel Hayes, Kamdyn Myers, Vienna, Jack, Alani Jimenez, Christian Stephens, Kayson Leonhardt, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends who will cherish his loving memory forever.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on Friday, August 1, 2025, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel (10304 Dixie Hwy). A Funeral Service will honor Todd’s life at 11:00 am on Saturday at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in Todd’s memory to Shirley's Way.

Todd always put himself last, a whole lotta give and not enough take. His legacy of kindness, humor, and unwavering love will continue to resonate within all the lives he touched. He will forever be missed, but his spirit will never be forgotten.
