Frankie Aldridge

Frankie Aldridge, 80, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024. Frankie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great friend who never met a stranger. If you knew Frankie you knew his humor and funny character. He was a plumber by trade for over 50 years and loved his profession. Fishing was one of his greatest passions and he would go every chance he could. Frankie will truly be missed by anyone and everyone who had the honor of knowing him.

He was born on March 14, 1944 in Greenville, Kentucky to Ivan and Wilma (Peveler) Aldridge. He is preceded in death by his Father, Ivan Aldridge, Mother, Wilma L. Aldridge, Loving Wife of 52 years, Patricia Ann Aldridge, Siblings, Ivan Aldridge, Jr., Joyce Aldridge, Billy Aldridge, Chester "Bubby" (Anna) Aldridge, Reba (Willard) Snodgrass, and Benny "Sonny" Aldridge, In-Laws, Charles "Junnie", Paul, and Ronnie.

Frankie is survived by his loving family, Children, Kimberly M. (Rob) Knickerbocker and Kenneth M. (Jennifer) Aldridge; Grandchildren, Patrick (Kristi) Willis, Madison (Conner) Lurie, Trace (Anna) Lurie, Cora (Austin) Dolson, and Kara Aldridge; Great-Grandchildren, Elliot Lurie and Olivia Dolson; In-Laws, Linda Aldridge, Charlotte, Elaine, Joe (Pam), Janice (Jerry), Mark (Patti), Margarita; Close as a Brother, Robert "Bobby" (Kathy) Thomas, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends to cherish his memory forever.

Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Sunday, August 18, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel, (10304 Dixie Hwy). His Celebration of Life Service will be at 5:00 pm on Sunday, at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions - Southwest Louisville Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Louisville, Kentucky on Tuesday August 20, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
