Frank Viola, age 58 of Louisville passed away Friday, February 12, 2016. He was born in Brooklyn, New York, to the late John and Josephine Casa Viola. Frank was a maintenance supervisor for Camp Crestwood Assemblies of God. Frank is also preceded in death by his father-in-law, Carmine Matone.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Denise Viola; children, Timothy Viola (Jessi), Jeremy Viola, Katherine Viola (Sean Green) and Samuel Viola; grandchildren, Eli, Isaiah and Annabelle; brother, Jerome Viola (Michele); niece and nephew, Sara and Zachary Viola; mother-in-law, Eva Matone; sister and brother-in-laws, Carmine Matone, Jr. and family, John Matone and family, Joseph Matone and family, Michael Matone and family, Richard Matone and family, and Deborah Flout and Norman Flout and family; and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation will be 2-8pm Wednesday, February 17, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 235 Juneau Drive and 9:30am – 11am Thursday in the Fireside Room at Southeast Christian Church, 920 Blankenbaker Parkway, Louisville, KY. Funeral ceremony will be 11am Thursday at the church with burial to follow in Floydsburg Cemetery.
