Frank Caleb Land, age 48, of New Albany, Indiana, passed away on October 12, 2026. He was the proud owner of Frank Land Home Improvement, having first gained experience in the family asphalt legacy. Known by his neighbors as the "mayor of the block," Frank was dedicated to his family and his community.
Born on August 4, 1978, in Letcher County, Kentucky, Frank cherished his hillbilly heritage. He was the son of the late Ora and Alberta (Crow) Land and was preceded in death by his brother, John, and sister, Rosetta.
Frank's passions included riding motorcycles, shooting, camping, and enjoying the outdoors. A collector of boots and belt buckles, he remained a big kid at heart that still liked watching cartoons with the kids. He was widely recognized for his generosity and belief in offering second chances, always showing kindness to anyone in need.
He is survived by his sons, Caleb Hill-Land and Jonathan Hill; his sister, Lorraina Aldridge (Craig); his brothers, JR (Micah) and Joseph Land, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and continue on Monday after 9:00 a.m. at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany). A celebration of Frank's life will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, followed by burial at Kraft-Graceland Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank’s memory may be made to Legacy Trees for Coastlove or any charity aiding those in need, reflecting his generous spirit.
