Frank L. Mcclain

October 11, 1956 — December 14, 2015

Frank L. McClain, 59, went to meet Jesus on December 14, 2015. He was a devout Christian who loved ministering at nursing homes by playing his guitar and he was especially close to his church family. Family meant everything to him especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ben F. McClain.

He is survived by his mother, Onnie McClain, his wife of 22 years, Kathy McClain, son, Robert (Sarah) McClain and Jason (Christine) Epperson; daughter, Carrie (David) Browning; grandchildren, Brandon, Wesley, Siearra, Kendrick, Malorie, Hunter, Natalie, Kendall, and Furious Kai; great grandson, Xavier Ray; sister, Kathy (Louis) Wilcox; 3 nieces and 3 nephews; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ray and JoAnn Probus; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dennis (Rebecca) Probus and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 3pm-8pm at Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel (10304 Dixie Highway). A celebration of Frank's life will be Friday, December 18, 2015 at 1pm at the chapel of Newcomer Funeral Home SW Chapel.

The family asks that expressions of sympathy be made to the Heritage Baptist Church, Fund for Missionaries, 10010 Dixie Highway, Louisville, KY 40272.
