Frank Edward Jackson, Jr., 79, of Pekin, Indiana, passed away on Friday, June 18, 2021. Frank was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Salem, Indiana, and liked fishing, hunting, and cheering on the Indiana Hoosiers. Of all his pastimes, his favorite was spending time with his grandchildren.
He was born on April 29, 1942, in Pekin, Indiana, to the late Frank E. Jackson, Sr., and Luva (Pixley) Phibbons. Along with his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his siblings, Charles Jackson and Mary Lou Jackson.
Frank is survived by his loving wife, Betty (Swartz) Jackson; children, Troy (Carla) Jackson and Tonya (Joseph) Harper; grandchildren, Quinton Jackson, Joseph Harper, Jr., Dalton (Zoey) Harper, and Romen Harper; and siblings, Regina (C.C.) Haynes and Janice (Alcova) Jones.
Cremation was chosen in regards to Frank's wishes. No services have been scheduled at this time.
The family requests that contributions in Frank's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Salem.
