Frank "Darrell" Hampton

Frank "Darrell" Hampton, 73, a loving husband and father, of New Albany, Indiana passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018. He enjoyed fishing and watching TV, especially classic westerns.
Darrell was born on October 28, 1944 in New Albany to the late Jake L. and Ollie M. (Redford) Hampton. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Irene Eddington, Evelyn French, and Ronnie Hampton.
Darrell is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Sandra K. (Jordan) Hampton; children, Denise Beickman (Kevin), Yvonne Souder (Darin), and Tracey McDowell (Derrick); 8 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1 PM to 8 PM Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) and will continue after 12 Noon on Thursday, August 16, 2018 until 2 PM. His Funeral Service will be held at 2 PM on Thursday in the chapel at the funeral home with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery in New Albany.
