He was born on January 3, 1947 in Louisville, Kentucky. Frank was preceded in death by his brothers, Joseph C. Gootee, Jr. and Michael P. "Mickey" Gootee.
Frank is survived his sister, Sandy Sutherland and his brother, Phil Gootee, as well as many other extended family members and friends.
No public service will be held.
