Frank Blackmon, 60, of Palmyra, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Green Valley Care Center in New Albany, Indiana.
Frank was born on February 23, 1953 in Courtland, Alabama to the late Franklin and Lola (Eskridge) Blackmon. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Patricia J. (Riggs) Blackmon; children, Ed Messer (Angie), Misty Messer-Zopfi; brother, Donnie Blackmon; grandchildren, Lexi, Easton, Logan, and Nathan.
Cremation was chosen following Frank's wishes. No services are scheduled at this time. Newcomer Funeral Home (3309 Ballard Lane, New Albany) was entrusted with his care.
