Francine Thompson

February 19, 1947 — December 16, 2020

Francine Thompson, 73, of Jeffersontown, Kentucky, passed away on December 16th, 2020, being taken by the evil covid virus.

She was a retired corrections officer who worked at KCIW women's prison in Pewee Valley. She was a wonderful wife and a great mother. Her smile could light up any room. She was the most generous and giving person ever, always helping family and friends, asking nothing in return.

Fran was born on February 19th 1947 in Brooklyn, New York to Joseph and Connie Daniello. She is preceded in death by her husband Robert Thompson, her brother John Daniello, and her parents.

She will be lovingly remembered by her two brothers, CJ and Joe Daniello; her two sons, Matthew and Josh Thompson; Brynna Marion, Matts fiance; Layla Thompson, Fran's granddaughter; her sister-in-law and best friend, Grace Hess "Sis"; numerous nieces and nephews; and also the love of her life, Tommy.

There will be a celebration of her life in the spring when the flowers start to bloom and life is new again. Her ashes will be spread in her garden, a place that she loved.
